The AACAH Center is a 501c3 non profit organization established by Jane Sellars in 2017, following many months of efforts to promote and highlight the contributions of African Americans in Burlington, NC. The Center's primary mission is dedicated to celebrating, educating, collecting, documenting, and preserving the historical artifacts, documents, and memorabilia relating to the contributions of African Americans life, history, and culture. The Center plans to open to the public in 2021, as the newest and the only African American Center in Burlington, NC
